The first thing you need to do is download Pirch. "Downloading" is when you transfer a file from a remote computer and save it onto yours. Click here to open a new web browser window at the main Pirch website.

You'll need to click on the "Download" link and then click on the Pirch98 image to start downloading. A small window might open and ask you where you want to save the file. Type in "c:\pirch98s.exe" and click "OK". Another small window will open so you can view the progress as the file downloads

When the download is complete and the small progress window closes, open Windows Explorer by clicking the "Start" menu, hilight "Programs" and select "Windows Explorer". You can also click hereto open Explorer, but you might have to select "Run from current location" when prompted. Explorer should automagically open to "C:\", but to be sure, hilight the "C:\" image in the left window. You should see a list of folders and files in the right window. Double-click with the left mouse button on the "pirch98s.exe" file (should be a red "P") and installation should start.
