Once you have opened Windows Explorer and found the pirch98s.exe file, double-click on the file to start the installation.

A new window will open and ask you if this is a new installation or an upgrade, and whether or not you would like to add icons to your start menu. Leave these alone unless you know what you're doing. Click "Next".

Next you are asked for an installation directory. You can leave this at "c:\pirch98" or type in any directory you choose, such as "d:\pirch98" or "c:\internet\apps\IRC\pirch" or anything you want. When you are done click "Next". You might be asked if you want to create this new directory. Click "Yes".

Click "Finish" to proceed with the installation. A progress meter will open, when it is done click "Ok". You should now be able to run Pirch by selecting "Start..Pirch98..Pirch98".
